PVC floors out of the world!
We talk a lot about plastic getting out of the world. How can it be that more and more plastic is being used? Plastic frames, artificial grass, plastic-coated sheet material and therefore also plastic floors. The PVC floors. How is that possible? Our plastic waste mountain is getting bigger instead of smaller. For me the motivation to look at wooden floors again and to redesign them.
It must be possible to come up with an alternative to PVC floors with the same most important properties, but with good properties when it comes to our environment. This idea was born to us years ago, but now we have reached that point.
Affordable floor, based on natural materials
At Echt! Only natural and local materials are used. How Real! makes floors so unique? The composition of the floor makes it affordable, removable and reusable.
The most important? It doesn’t look like wood, it’s real! wood. Through these floors we make natural floors available to everyone.
The laying concept
The innovative contact adhesive is applied to the underside of the plank (we do this in the factory!) and to the subfloor. The adhesive for the subfloor is included.
When the plank then comes into contact with the glued subfloor, it becomes fixed. It’s that simple!
This innovative contact adhesive also makes it possible for the floor to be removed in its entirety after use, without damage.
Wood on underfloor heating
Wood is very suitable for laying on underfloor heating. Due to the composition of Echt! floors, the thermal resistance is improved.
Real! floors are 7.5mm thick, which ensures that heat reaches the room faster.
Wood retains heat longer than other materials. In short, very suitable for underfloor heating!
