Floer is proud to unveil its latest collection: the Floer Akukurk Wall Panels. These extremely durable acoustic wall panels made of cork combine a 100% natural look with soundproofing and insulating properties. Thanks to the striking 3D effect, an Akukurk wall panel contributes to an exceptionally natural look and feel in any interior!
With the introduction of the Akukurk Wall Panels, Floer is confident of adding a unique wall finish. “With the Floer Akukurk Wall Panels we bring a 100% natural element into the home that is not only exceptionally durable, but also offers practical benefits,” explains Stefan, responsible for product development at Floer.
At the Dutch brand, sustainability is at the heart of all its activities, from production to transportation. This also applies to the new collection; all Akukurk Wall Panels are made from a cork board covered with 100 percent natural tree bark, handmade and harvested directly from the cork oak tree. The manufacturing process explains the sustainability of these products. When harvesting the cork, no trees are cut down and the trees do not even suffer any damage. In fact, cork grows back again! The sustainable and natural cork wall panels are handmade in Portugal.
The Floer Akukurk Wall Panels combine their natural strength with practical benefits. The variation in thicknesses of the bark absorbs sound waves, improving acoustics in any room. In addition, the 3D panels offer an insulating effect, helping to maintain an even temperature. In addition to the practical benefits, these panels are great for both domestic and commercial spaces! The acoustic wall panels are available in a variety of looks, from 100% real tree bark to sandstone look. With the introduction of the Akukurk Wall Panels, Floer is setting a new standard in sustainability and innovation in wall finishes.
