The countdown to 12, 13 and 14 September 2021 is almost at an end and then the doors of Evenementenhal Gorinchem will open again to welcome the interior professionals of the Benelux at Interieur Collectie Dagen (InCoDa). Besides an exclusive trend lecture by trend analyst Niek De Prest and the presentation co-hosted by Yvonne Teijgeman, there is much more on the agenda of the trade fair for window coverings, flooring, wall coverings and upholstery.
Many familiar faces, but also many newcomers will welcome the interior professionals at InCoDa as of next Sunday. The new participants include Arte – HookedOnWalls, B&C Raamdecoratie, Belakos, BN Walls, Casamance, Decoline, Joka, Phenomena Agenturen, Rasch, Stone Age, Suncoblinds, TFD Floortile, Vink VTS and Vivafloors. Also in the field of paint and tiles, many new collections within the latest trends can be discovered, from Cerriva to Porter’s Paints, Rigo Verffabriek and Van Sand. Forbo Flooring will also be there with a truck on the Sunday for a special promotion.
There is not only a diverse range of products, but also a varied programme. At the Entrepreneur Stage and the Inspiration Café, various subjects will be addressed (in Dutch), such as creative director Meindert Bos of B&C Raamdecoratie giving the daily masterclass (in Dutch) ‘Connect trend and consumer’. He helps the professional to bring the inspiration of interior design programmes, interior design magazines and Pinterest into the shop. Machiel van Westerhoven, the director of Rigo Verffabriek gives the masterclass (in Dutch) ‘Hardeners for parquet lacquer: How, What, Why?’ especially for parquet installers and floor specialists. What are the advantages and disadvantages, how can you work safely with them and when do you choose a lacquer with or without hardener?
Smart Home is a theme that cannot be missed at InCoDa, Sean Schuurman of Rouwendal van Slimmer Wonen introduces visitors to the ease and simplicity of Smart Home products. During the master class (in Dutch), discover how smart heating, lighting and window decorations can together provide energy savings, greater comfort and safety for the customer.
The theme of sustainability will also be covered extensively, for example interior designer Karen Verhoeven of Studio HjemmeBY will talk about ‘Seizing sustainable opportunities within the retail’ (in Dutch) in the fast-growing market on Sunday 12 September. Founder Marieke Kamphuis of The Substitute tells (in Dutch) how sustainable the interior industry currently is and gives a crash course in sustainable furnishing for designs with impact. Finally, duo green stylist Katja van Ewijk of Personalgreen and Biophilic Designer Ilse Baan of iliStyle present the inspiration session (in Dutch) ‘Biophilic Design: nature – welfare – design in the interior’. They offer you inspiration that you can immediately apply to your home or office. This way you create a healthy, happy and balanced interior for your clients.
On Monday 13 September, Anna Hutten of INretail and Carin Frijters of RetailTheater and BNS Crisp will organise a free meet & greet (in Dutch) in which they will let you discover what knowledge about home trends means for the home entrepreneur through INretail’s master classes. The brand builders of MM show how to stand out by being yourself during ‘How to make a difference as a company or brand’. They inspire the entrepreneur by thinking about the content and the needs of the customers, instead of the form, the means or the channel. As icing on the cake, Jody of the Pinacademie will give the workshop (in Dutch) ‘In 3 steps to success on Pinterest’. Go from ‘I’m just doing something’ to a successful Pinterest strategy for a continuous flow of website visitors, more customers and more turnover.
In addition, there are many demos to see at, for example, the Cerriva stand with “Processing ceramic floors without glue and joints!”, at the Home and Project Furnishing and Parquet Laying championships. Of course there are also novelties to discover and networks to do at the Parquet Pavilion powered by Parketblad.
